How to Replace the Ignition Barrel on the Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the ignition barrel on the Volkswagen Polo, you need to completely dismantle the steering wheel, removing the central airbag and unscrewing the nut that secures it to the column. After the steering wheel has been fully removed, you can detach the plastic covers that encase the steering column to access the underlying components. Here you will find the ignition barrel, which can be removed from its seat by disconnecting the connectors and unscrewing the securing screws. After removal, you can insert the new barrel and reassemble all previously removed components.
