Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T4, MK 4 - Years 1990-2003

The cabin air filter of the vehicle in question resembles more of an engine air filter than a typical cabin air filter: it does not have the classic panel shape but is of the circular type (doughnut); that said, the filter is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side, just below the windscreen; disconnect the protective grille located directly over the filter seat to then remove the filter itself by unfastening the corresponding retaining tabs; ensure there are no dirt residues inside the filter seat and install the new one, ensuring it fits correctly.
