Replacing the Daytime Running Light Bulb on a Volkswagen Polo

Learn how to replace the burnt-out bulb in the daytime running light of the Volkswagen Polo. Stand in front of the headlight containing the bulb to be changed and, using a hook or an L-shaped Allen key, remove the plastic trim by acting on the hole at the bottom. Now unscrew the two screws located at the bottom that hold the spotlight in place and release it from its housing. At the back, on one side, is the bulb holder which you will detach by rotating it; you can now remove the old bulb and replace it with a new one. Reposition the bulb holder, secure the headlight with its screws, and replace the trim in its housing.
