Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
Golf V, MK 5, Golf 5
- Years 2003-2008 If it happens that during the engine starting phase the warning lights on the instrument panel go out and the engine does not start, then it means that the battery has run out; therefore open the front hood to intercept the position of the battery which is on the driver's side, next to the fuse box; then remove the cover, unscrew the bracket applied to the bottom of the battery on the motor side, remove the side cover and unscrew the terminals starting from that of the negative pole; then extract the exhausted battery, compare the dimensions, position of the poles and capacity of the new battery and proceed backwards for installation.
