In order to replace the windshield washer pump of the Volkswagen Passat, you need to loosen the screws that secure the right front wheel, so that you can access the inner lining of its wheel arch: the latter must be removed from its seat so that you have access to the components inside it. The windshield washer pump will then be accessible once the wheel arch is removed and can be removed from its seat by disconnecting the hose and loosening the screws that secure it: this will allow you to insert the new pump, checking that it functions correctly.
