Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Air filter

Release and lift the bonnet. The filter is located at the top right of the engine; simply follow the large pipe that exits the engine. Now proceed to remove the bolts around the perimeter of the filter cover. Once removed, lift the cover and take out the worn filter. Vacuum any remaining dirt and install the new filter, ensuring it is oriented as indicated by the old filter or the new filter's box. Reverse the steps for reassembly.
