In this video, see how to remove the boot lining of a Volkswagen Passat Variant B7: start by lifting the cover of the boot floor, then remove the underlying plastic cover, and unscrew the two Torx screws to remove the lower panel, which is secured with four clips.

Now remove the parcel shelf, then unscrew the two Torx screws that remove the floor lining.

Lift the lower part of the seat and unscrew the nut that secures the lower part of the side cushion. You will need to remove the upper plastic cover, lift and remove the cushion.

From this side lining, remove the lower clip, two fixing clips, and the upper clip inside the sealing ring. You will need to remove this single-use plastic rivet.

Unfortunately, the YouTuber did not film how they removed the driver's seat, but there is a small cover under the handle that needs to be pried off. The best way to remove the main lining is to pull from the top, where the clips are located. Remove the release cables and disconnect the buttons by pressing the pin. Remove the pillar lining and that’s it.
