Operation: How do you activate Sign Assist on the Volkswagen Golf?

In order to activate Sign Assist on the Volkswagen Golf, so that the car can detect road signs, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key in the ignition switch: once the panel is on, you need to navigate to the menu on the display in the center of the dashboard. Press the SETUP button and then select the "Driving Assistance" option: scrolling down, you will find the "Road Sign Recognition" option, which needs to be switched from "Off" to "On". Then you can return to the initial screen to confirm the change.
