How to replace engine oil and filter on a Volkswagen Polo version 5

In this video we see how to change the engine oil and filter on a Volkswagen Polo version 5: we open the hood and unscrew the oil cap. We lift the car at its front and put it on jack stands for safety, then we clean the area around the oil drain hole of the oil pan with a metal brush and a spray like WD-40; we place a container under the oil pan to collect the used oil, which we will then dispose of properly at an authorized center. Meanwhile, from the top we clean the cap of the oil filter housing, and prepare a container for the old oil filter that we will remove. We clean the seat and place the new filter, after lubricating the rubber gasket of the new filter with a small amount of new oil. We go back underneath, clean the oil pan drain area and screw in the new cap with the new gasket. Now we can lower the car and refill the tank with new oil. The car in the video is a 1.6 with 66 kw, so it requires 4 liters of SAE 5W40 oil: we will pour about 90%, then we will measure the level, always without exceeding the maximum level. We close the cap and the operation is complete.
