How to disassemble the pillar of a Volkswagen Passat, perhaps to install the cables of a dash-cam? This video explains it to us. Before doing this job, we recommend disconnecting the negative pole of the battery, to prevent the airbag contained in the pillar from exploding. This is a rare possibility, but it is still possible. We remove the clip, and using a flat screwdriver, we remove the Torx screw of 20 that is inside. Once that is removed, we will only find plastic clips, which will come off very easily by pulling with some force, and so we will have removed the pillar without any difficulty.
