To replace the fuel pump on a Volkswagen Polo, first loosen the screws securing the rear seat bench to its housing. Once removed, you can locate the pump underneath, which can now be freed from its housing by unscrewing the screws and loosening the bolts that hold it in place.

After removal, insert the new pump into the designated housing, connecting it to the appropriate connectors and pipes. Once the pump has been replaced, reinstall the rear seat bench.
