How do you replace the fuel pump of the Volkswagen Polo?

In order to replace the fuel pump of the Volkswagen Polo, you need to loosen the screws that secure the rear seat bench to its housing: once this has been removed, you will be able to locate the pump underneath, which can now be freed from its seat by unscrewing and loosening the screws that hold it in place. After removal, you can insert the new pump into its corresponding seat, connecting it to the appropriate connectors and pipes. Once the pump replacement is complete, you can reinstall the rear seat bench.
