How to Replace a Speaker in Minutes

In this video, you will observe the simple operation that allows you to replace a speaker in a Volvo S40/V40. First, remove the outer grille: gently pry at several external points of the grille with a screwdriver and pull it out. Next, completely unscrew the four locking screws, then carefully extract the speaker with the help of the screwdriver. To fully remove it, disconnect the power cable: simply apply slight pressure with your index finger and thumb on the end of the cable. Now, connect the new speaker to the power cable and insert it into the compartment, ensuring that the alignment of the locking screw holes is respected. After screwing in the locking screws, reinsert the outer grille.
