Power Steering Oil Reservoir Replacement

Model: Volvo S60 MK 1 - Years 2000-2009

To start, gain access to the engine compartment and securely prop the hood open. On the left side of the engine compartment (when facing the front), locate the power steering oil reservoir: unscrew the cap and drain the reservoir using a pump. Then, disconnect the return oil hose from the reservoir fitting and pinch it with a pair of pliers to prevent oil spills; repeat the same procedure on the high-pressure hose. At this point, detach the reservoir and remove it from its place to replace it with the new one: it is recommended to also replace the supply hose, securing it to the bottom fitting of the reservoir with a clamp. Then, attach the reservoir to its support and connect the return hose. Fill the reservoir with the specific hydraulic oil.
