Volvo Xc90 - Video tutorial

Model: Volvo Xc90 MK 1 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Engine oil
Operation: Engine oil and oil filter replacement

If possible, lift the car on a lift or with a jack by applying special stands for cars. Remove the stone guard to access the oil pan and, after having positioned a pan of suitable capacity in correspondence with the drain plug, unscrew the latter to allow the exhausted oil to drain out. Once the drain is complete, tighten the cap and replace the oil filter: it is located right next to the oil pan and can be unscrewed either with the appropriate socket wrench or with a metal clamp wrench. Fit the new filter, after having covered the gasket with oil, and tighten it without exceeding the tightening torque. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the quantities and SAE specifications indicated in the use and maintenance manual.
