Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Open the hood and locate the oil filter container (cartridge filter): it is found on the front left, near the engine oil dipstick. To drain the oil, first remove the splash guard: the drain plug is located at the rear of the oil pan. Place a container to catch the used oil and unscrew the plug (also unscrew the fill cap to facilitate the operation); tighten it after draining. Accessing the engine compartment, unscrew the cap of the oil filter container, remove the old cartridge, and replace it with the new one; screw the cap back on after replacing the O-ring gasket and lubricating it with oil. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the owner's manual.
