Instructions for Removing Car Radio

Model: Volvo V50 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

Using a plastic lever, detach the trim around the display; then remove the cap located at the centre of the dashboard, just behind the centre tunnel, to disconnect and remove the display itself. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the centre console, also removing those underneath the cigarette lighter cover; also detach the gaiter of the gear lever, disconnect the plugs and remove the console: it is now possible to remove the car radio located at the top of the console by unscrewing the fixing screws and pulling it forward.
