Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Volvo S80 - Years 1998-2006

Open the front bonnet and remove the plastic cover on top of the engine, secured with Torx screws: it is advisable to perform these operations with a cold engine to avoid unpleasant incidents. Unscrew the fastening screws of the ignition coils and extract the complete coil with the connector; then unscrew the old spark plug and insert the new one, ensuring it threads correctly into its seat, first by hand and then tighten with the spanner without exceeding the torque specification. Then apply the connector, pushing it down fully, and re-screw the fastening screw of the coil.
