This video shows how to install new tubes to the throttle body of a Volvo S 60. It is first necessary to disconnect the negative pole of the battery. In order to work at its best, it is advisable to remove the air box. Unscrew the 10mm bolts securing it and detach the air hose as well. Disconnect the MAF (mass air flow) electrical outlet. Unscrew the clips that secure the vacuum tubes connected to the throttle body. Unscrew the clips and remove the main manifold. Install the throttle body cover and reassemble first the "elbow" part (the one with the most pronounced angle) of a new main tube and then the longer part. Use the original clips as a reference for proper placement. Join the two parts by tightening the metal clamp that joins them. Reconnect the decompression tubes and reconstitute the starting situation by working backwards with respect to the disassembly operations.
