Follow these steps to adjust the parking brake and its cable on the Volvo XC 90. First, get inside the vehicle and remove the parking brake boot by pulling it off from the bottom. Next, use a socket wrench to loosen or tighten the parking brake cable adjuster, removing the metal clip first, as shown in the video. Ensure that the rear brake pads are in good condition; if necessary, adjust the brakes on the rear as well!
