How do you check the engine oil level on a Volvo V70? It's very simple! Just open the bonnet using the switch located under the steering wheel near the driver, and keep it open by securing the prop rod to the car's structure. Next, pull out the dipstick located in the oil reservoir, which acts as a float, identifiable by its obvious round red handle.

The mark on the dipstick will provide the answer to your question, allowing you to determine whether to add more engine oil to the designated reservoir.
