How to check the engine oil level for the Volvo V70? Simple! Just open the hood of the car thanks to the switch located under the steering wheel near the driver, and keep it open by fixing the rod that supports the hood on the structure of the car. Then you have to pull out the rod which is located in the oil tank, and which acts as a float, recognizable by the evident round red handle. From the sign on the auction we could have the answer to our question and intervene or not in the introduction of other engine oil in the special tank of the car.
