How to change the battery of a BMW X1?

To change the battery of a BMW X1, start by turning off the vehicle and making sure all lights and electrical systems are deactivated. The battery is located in the engine compartment, usually protected by a cover or casing. To access it, open the hood and locate the battery compartment. Remove the cover, if present, to expose the terminals. Begin by disconnecting the negative cable, identified by the symbol "-" or the color black, followed by the positive, marked with "+" or red. Once disconnected, unscrew the clamps or supports holding the battery in place and lift it carefully to remove it. Place the new battery in the same housing, making sure it is securely fastened. Reconnect the cables in reverse order, starting with the positive and ending with the negative. Finally, make sure the terminals are tightly secured and replace the protective cover, if present, before closing the hood.
