How do you reset the brake wear indicator light on the BMW 3 Series?

On the instrument panel of the BMW 3 Series, the operation of resetting the brake wear indicator light involves turning on the instrument panel, so that you can navigate through the options in the onboard computer menu: to move within the menu you will need to use the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel. Once the icon showing the remaining km until the brake pads replacement is displayed, you will need to press and hold the button for a few seconds, so that the indicator light is reset. To verify that the reset has occurred, you can turn off and turn on the instrument panel.
