How to reset the service light on the BMW Series 3 E90/E91/E92/E93

Let's see how to reset the service light on BMW Series 3 for the E90/E91/E92/E93 versions. There are two methods, depending on the car's equipment. With the BC (Board Computer) button: turn on the instrument panel; the BC button is the button located at the far left of the turn signal lever: hold it down until the word "test" (or the symbol of a triangle) appears on the display. Release the button: using the same "BC" button, scroll through the menu until you find the desired entry through "oil service"; "inspection"; "brake pads"; "cabin air filter": select the entry you are interested in and press and hold the BC button: you will see an hourglass or a countdown appear. Keep holding until the word "RESET" appears. If the vehicle is equipped with the iDrive system, turn on the ignition, access the iDrive menu, press the "menu" button, and go to "vehicle settings," select the service you want to reset, and you will be asked for confirmation. And that's it.
