Replacing the Outside Temperature Sensor of the BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

Here’s how to remove and replace the outside temperature sensor on the BMW 3 Series. First, lift the vehicle and begin removing the lower engine cover by unscrewing all the fastening screws. Next, unscrew all the screws securing the front bumper, also removing the wheel well liners as shown in the video. At this point, detach the bumper completely to access the outside temperature sensor; disconnect the electrical connector to remove it and replace it with the new original one, then reassemble all other components.
