How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a BMW 3 Series

In this guide video, we see how to remove the fuel pump from a BMW 3 Series. First, disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be disassembled. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the fastening screws of the metal cap, and remove it from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the sheet metal with absorbent paper; use a chisel to unscrew the large fastening pin (if present). Finally, disconnect the power terminals and the fluid circulation tubes. Extract the fuel pump.
