How to Change the Battery in a BMW 3 Series Key Fob

Change the battery in the key fob? Disassemble the BMW key. Take your key fob and use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Remove the worn battery from its holder. Take a new battery of the same size and voltage and insert it into the holder. Reassemble the two plastic parts of the fob by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Finally, check the proper functioning of the key fob. Press the buttons on the key and see the unlocking of the car doors.
