Replacing Cabin Air Filter and Checks

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Cabin air filter

Obtain a cabin air filter of the same model as the original. The cabin air filter purifies the air inside the vehicle and is located in the engine compartment under the windshield. To access it, lift the air grille and the protective cover, freeing it from the rubber seal. Move the cover by lifting it. Once the filter cover is removed, take the cartridge out of its housing by carefully pulling it straight up to avoid dust dispersal. Place the new filter into the housing, ensuring it is oriented correctly, and securely close the cover and grille. Proceed with checking the levels of various fluids.
