Battery Replacement on BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E36 - Years 1990-2001

Remove the ignition key, pull the parking brake, and open the hood by pulling the lever inside the cabin. Lift it and insert the prop rod. Unscrew the two screws that secure the battery with the bracket (see video). Disconnect the negative terminal first, which is on your left when facing the cabin, by loosening the 10 mm bolt with a socket wrench. Also, remove the upper protective plastic, then unscrew the positive terminal. Use the designated handle to pull out the battery. Insert the new battery and reassemble everything in reverse order.
