Reset BMW ECU

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008
Part: Warning light – error code

Start this procedure with the engine off. Insert the key and press the ignition button, but do not start the engine! You must have the gear engaged and the clutch pedal NOT pressed. As usual, all dashboard lights will illuminate. At this point, press the accelerator pedal all the way down and hold it there for thirty seconds without moving your foot. After thirty seconds, you can release the accelerator pedal, press the start/stop button once more, and remove the key. Open and close the driver's door. Reset complete!
