How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 1 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013

To reset the service light on a BMW 1 Series, turn on the ignition and wait for all error messages to disappear. When you reach the main screen, press and hold the button at the bottom left of the instrument cluster until the icon of a car on a lift appears. At this point, press and hold the BC button located on the lever to the left of the steering wheel. The icon of a clock will appear, and once it disappears, it indicates that the service reset procedure has been completed correctly.
