How to Reset the Service Light on My BMW 3 Series E46?

Resetting the service light on your BMW 3 Series E46 is really simple, and you won’t need any special tools. Insert the ignition key without turning it, then press and hold the button under the speedometer (slightly to your left). While holding that button, turn the key to position 1 and turn on the instrument cluster (but do not start the engine). As you can see in the video, when the "reset" light appears, release and then press and hold the button again until it flashes, then release and press it once more, and you're done. This procedure should only be performed after completing the regular service.
