Instructions for Removing Front Headlight

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Remove the mounting bolts of the headlight from the radiator support and the one located at the bottom of the upper inner edge (toward the grille) that secures the headlight to the frame; to remove the headlight, you must first extract the front turn signal: remove the corresponding mounting screw accessible through the hole on the inner edge of the fender; once the screw is removed, pull the turn signal forward and disconnect the connector. At this point, detach the trim between the headlight and the bumper by prying it sideways, disconnect the connectors, and pull the headlight forward: behind the headlight is the xenon lamp control unit.
