Instructions for Disassembling the Window Regulator Mechanism
Model: BMW Serie 5

To disassemble the window regulator system, you need to remove the inner door trim panel: start by detaching the trim molding between the black and gray parts (it is secured only with pressure clips) to access the screws underneath; then remove the protective cap inside the handle area to reach the screw below that needs to be removed; another screw is located inside the air vent; disconnect the window switch and pry along the edges of the panel to remove it, disconnecting the speaker connector. Remove the plastic support housing the speaker, then take out the soundproofing cover and unscrew the screws securing the glass clips so you can slide the glass out of the door. At this point, proceed to disassemble the complete window regulator mechanism with the motor.
