Resetting the service light in the BMW 5 Series, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, make sure you have completed all required scheduled maintenance tasks. Start by inserting the key and turning on the instrument cluster; it is not necessary to start the engine. Then, press and hold the button located to the left of the dashboard until the maintenance menu appears. Next, scroll through the various available services with quick presses of the same button, and once you reach the item to reset, press and hold it one last time.
