Reset Airbag Light in Your Car
Model: BMW Serie 5
E61, E60

Having the airbag warning light constantly on can be annoying and distracting while driving. However, it is usually a minor setting anomaly that can easily occur, especially when performing electrical work on the car, such as installing a car radio. Fortunately, you can resolve this small issue with a few simple steps without needing a professional electrician or a specialized center. First, sit inside your car and turn the ignition key to the 'on' position to activate the instrument cluster without starting the engine. The airbag light will stay on for about 7 seconds before turning off. Immediately after, turn off the instrument cluster by returning the key to the 'off' position. Wait for about 5 seconds, then repeat the previous two steps. Complete the full operation for a third time. At this point, turn the ignition back on, wait for the airbag light to turn off, and start the engine to check if the operation was successful. The airbag light should no longer be on, allowing you to drive without any distractions since the problem will be resolved.
