How do you reset the onboard computer of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to reset the onboard computer of the BMW 3 Series, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the key into the ignition and pressing the button that turns on the panel. At this point, you will need to hold down the button located on the left side of the instrument panel, which will bring up the menu. Now, you will need to hold down the BC button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, in order to completely reset the onboard computer. Once the reset is complete, you can turn off the panel.
