To reset the onboard computer of the BMW 3 Series, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the key into the ignition and pressing the button to activate the cluster. Next, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster to bring up the menu.

Now, press and hold the BC button at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel to completely reset the onboard computer. Once the reset is complete, you can turn off the cluster.
