Operation: How to replace the oil, oil filter, and reset the service light on a Cadillac XT5.

To replace the oil and oil filter of the Cadillac Xt5, lift the front of the car (a lift bridge was used in the video, but lifting the front is also sufficient), unscrew the oil drain plug with a 15mm socket wrench, let the oil drain into a container, clean the plug seat and screw it back in; after draining the oil and screwing the plug back in, use a special wrench to unscrew the oil filter, let the oil drain into a container, clean its seat, wet a cloth with new oil, spread it on the gasket of the new filter and screw it back in using the special wrench; after screwing in the oil filter, lower the car, open the oil filler cap, insert a funnel, pour in the liters of oil indicated by the manufacturer, when we are approximately at the indicated oil level, check by raising the oil level dipstick (the check should be made the second time the dipstick is removed), if the oil level is almost at the max mark, top up a little, otherwise the oil has been refilled and we can close the oil filler cap. To reset the service, start the car, press the down arrow on the right spoke of the steering wheel until the "oil life" message appears, press the button with the right arrow, the "reset" message will appear, press the "ok" button, go to the "yes" message, press the "ok" button again and the service has been reset; we can return to the main menu and turn off the car.
