Replacing Spark Plugs on Chevrolet Spark

Replacing spark plugs is a maintenance task that is often overlooked and only done when starting issues or idling problems arise. Replace them every 31,000 miles for improved engine performance and fuel efficiency. The spark plugs are located beneath the intake manifold, so to replace them, you must remove this component by disconnecting it from the air duct and the throttle body. Once you reach the spark plug seats, pull out the leads, blow compressed air to remove any debris that could enter the cylinders, and then remove the spark plugs to install the new ones, applying some copper grease and cleaning the leads' electrodes with contact cleaner spray.
