Replacing the timing belt on a Chevrolet Cruze? Here’s how to disassemble it. Remove the front wheel, using a screwdriver to take off the right wheel arch liner and all covering pieces. Lift the bonnet. Using a spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Using a socket wrench, undo the tensioner pulley bolt, and remove the water pump. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Close the engine bay with the covering plastics. Refit the wheel after securing the plastics.
