Replacement of the Coolant Thermostat

Model: Chevrolet Blazer - Years 1998-2005

Open the bonnet and locate the thermostat, which is inside the pipe connecting the engine to the radiator, accessible via a flange. To access it, you need to remove the air filter and then open the expansion tank cap of the radiator. Remove the flange nuts from the pipe using a wrench and take off the pipe to access the thermostat. Remove the faulty thermostat and replace it with a new one. Refit the pipe and tighten the two flange nuts. Refill the coolant. Perform a test to check for proper operation.
