Replacing the Air Filter on Citroen C3 Aircross

Replacing the engine air filter is a maintenance task that can easily be done yourself, and it is essential to keep this filter clean to ensure the engine receives the right amount of clean air. Once the bonnet is opened, the filter box is located between the engine and the battery compartment. To facilitate replacement, it is recommended to remove the entire box from its housing. Start by disconnecting the intake duct in front of the box, then the vapour recovery duct by pressing the yellow plastic safety clip, and finally loosen the clamp that connects the filter box to the throttle body. Then unscrew the fastening pins of the filter box and remove it from its housing to unscrew the screws of the cover, remove it, and extract the old filter to insert the new one, then proceed in reverse for reassembly.
