How do you remove the fuel pump on a Citroen Xsara Picasso? First, disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Unscrew the metal cap securing screws using a socket wrench or electric screwdriver, and remove it from its housing. Unscrew the fuel pump securing clamp, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump assembly from its housing along with any parts that need replacing. Finally, refit the pump and the metal cap with the securing screws.
