How to replace the battery on a Citroen C2? Follow these steps for the replacement: open the car door and pull the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to the right: unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals with the appropriate socket, disconnect the battery hold-down bracket (if present). Remove the old battery and install a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and shut the engine bonnet.
