In this short guide, we will see how to reset the automatic transmission control unit of the Citroen Berlingo 1.6 HDi. First of all, we get into the car and start connecting our diagnostic tool to the OBD port; we turn on the instrument panel to allow it to communicate with the engine control unit.

At this point, we proceed to scan for errors, testing the control unit and the gearbox actuators; then we reset the transmission and verify its correct operation on the road afterwards.
