How to replace the engine oil and filter on a Dacia Sandero? Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever (located at the bottom left of the steering wheel) and lift the front bonnet; remove the engine oil filler cap. Raise the car on a column lift; unscrew the bolt of the oil sump and let the fluid drain into a container; using a socket wrench, unscrew the large tightening bolt of the container where the oil filter is located (remove the worn filter) and fit a new one. Finally, top up with new fluid and close the front bonnet.
