How to replace the cabin and engine filters on a Fiat Punto? Follow these steps: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Open the soundproofing panel for the air (where the air filter is located), remove the panel with the air filter box from the bodywork, then extract the worn air filter and insert a new one ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the box. To replace the cabin filter: use a plastic lever to pry off the rivets on the trim located at the bottom of the dashboard (right side under the glove compartment). Get a screwdriver or cordless drill, remove the securing screws that hold the side trim of the tunnel. Extract the worn cabin filter and insert a new filter.
