How to replace the timing belt of the Fiat Panda

Today we will explain how to replace the timing belt of the Fiat Panda model 169 from 2004 on your own. To perform the timing belt replacement, we need to open the front hood and remove the air filter box and the upper cover of the distribution. Immediately after, we lift the vehicle using a jack and safety stands to remove the right front wheel and fender. We remove the engine bolts to facilitate the replacement of the service pulley. To remove the timing belt, we need to mark the engine shaft and pulley with the belt rotations. Then we need to loosen the bearing, the tensioner roller, and the pulley in order to remove the belt and the oil seal. For a complete maintenance during the timing belt replacement, we replace the water pump. After removing the parts to be replaced, we proceed to assemble the new parts and the timing belt by following the reverse procedure.
