How to remove the driver's side airbag from the Fiat 500 L.

Today I will explain how to remove the airbag from the steering wheel of the Fiat 500 L. To remove the airbag, we need to insert a flathead screwdriver into the hole located behind the steering wheel to activate the release mechanism. We insert the screwdriver into the right hole and then into the left hole, after which we disconnect the connector and completely remove the central part of the steering wheel that contains the airbag. Before performing this operation, we recommend disconnecting the battery and ensuring that the engine and instrument panel are off to prevent the airbag from deploying during removal.
