Replacing the Oil Filter on the Fiat 500X

Here’s how to replace the engine oil filter: after locating the black capsule containing the filter (located in front of the radiator), unscrew it using a 27mm socket and an extension bar, preferably with a ratchet for easier operation. Once the capsule is unscrewed, gently pull out the filter and replace it with a new one of the type specified by the manufacturer (also visually confirm it matches the old one). Although not specified in the video, before proceeding with reassembly, retrace the same steps in reverse order and apply the new sealing gasket found in the same package to the threaded seat.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
