How to Activate and Deactivate Traction Control (ASR) on a Fiat 500

The traction control on the Fiat 500 is called AST (Anti-Slip Regulation) and is active by default every time the engine is started, preventing wheel slip on slippery surfaces. In models with a physical button, there is a button on the dashboard with the label "ASR OFF"; pressing the button deactivates the function and a warning light on the dashboard illuminates. To reactivate it, simply press the button again, the light will turn off and the system will automatically restart. In models with a touch display, access the "settings" menu, go to "vehicle" or "driving aids" and find the "ASR" option to select it to activate or deactivate. It is advisable to deactivate the system only in controlled conditions (starting in deep snow, sand, or to free a stuck vehicle).

How to Bleed the Clutch on a Renault Clio?
